Thank you, teachers

St Patrick’s College students have celebrated the tireless efforts of their teachers with a video of thanks on World Teachers’ Day.

The Student Council created the gratitude video with members of Student Congress on behalf of the entire student body, acknowledging the leadership and dedication of their teaching and support staff.

College Captain Noah Quick said teachers played a significant role in educating, inspiring and supporting students at the College.

“All of you play a significant role in helping educate and nurture us into becoming the best people we can possibly be,” he said.

“Your leadership and dedication to us and our studies is remarkable, not to mention your efforts in ensuring all extra-curricular activities go ahead and run smoothly which enables us to achieve both within and outside of the classroom.”

Noah said World Teachers’ Day provided the perfect opportunity to recognise the efforts of the SPC teaching and support staff.

“We might not say it often but your leadership and selfless approach to our education is guidance for us to follow,” he said.

“You provide all of us with someone to look up to or someone to strive to be like so thank you.”
