Class of 1974 celebrations continue after reunion

Members of the Class of 1974 continued to catch up the day after their 50-Year Reunion at Oscars Hotel, in Ballarat.

Following a very successful evening celebrating the Class of 1974 50–Year Reunion at the College’s OCA Pavilion on 1 June, a large number of Old Boys and their partners continued to celebrate and reminisce about their years together at SPC at Oscars Hotel, in Ballarat the following day.

Around 43 people (26 guys and 17 partners) gathered to continue to celebrate the guys at least 50 years since leaving SPC and venturing into the outside world. The night before and the continued celebrations on the Sunday led to a wonderful weekend in Ballarat and the weather was pleasant with little rain too, for a change. Unfortunately, when time permitted for photographs, some of the guys had left for their long journey back home.

The event was so successful that our normal November pre-Christmas get together was promoted and it is hoped that as many SPC PY1974 guys and partners, families and friends will attend our continued celebrations to end our 50^th year celebrations. The event is to be held at The Yacht Club Ballarat on Lake Wendouree on Sunday, 10 November 2024 commencing at 12 noon.
