eLearning Strategic Plan Review Update

The ICT Executive Committee have continued to work on the College eLearning Strategic Plan review. The Committee has spent many hours reviewing feedback and input from major stakeholders through the following mediums:

• Staff and Student Focus Groups

• Staff online survey

• Student online survey

• Parent online survey

Having now analysed the voluminous data collected, the Committee is in the process of identifying the major themes and trends in the feedback, which will lead to recommendations that will be made to the College senior leadership, which in turn will lead to the development of the updated eLearning Strategic Plan. These recommendations are planned to be completed by mid Term 4.

Creating Parent access to App4 on student Notebook

App4 is the College eDiary used by teachers and students and parents are also able to access their son’s eDiary to view their Homework and Assignments. This can be done in several ways:

• Ask to view App4 on your son’s device

  • Sit with your son and ask him to open App4 on his device and go through the homework, assignments and notes

    • You can access a Quick Start guide to App4 here http://ipads.stpats.vic.edu.au/uploads/8/4/1/5/8415601/quick_start_guide_feb_26_2014.pdf

• Download the App4 Parent app on to your iPhone or iPad

  • You will need to create a Parent Access Code first to do this on your son’s device

• Access App4 through a browser on a computer
