Ballarat Australian Ex-Prisoners of War Memorial Trustees Book Tribute at KRC

Precursor to ANZAC Day Celebrations – Ballarat Australian Ex-Prisoners of War Memorial

St Patrick’s College has a rich tradition of recognising Old Boys who have fought in wars. No doubt many of our students and their families will take a few moments to remember our proud ANZAC history. Thoughts will be of those who have or continue to serve our country allowing us to have the freedom we enjoy today.

Ballarat too has such a tradition and over the past years the Australian Ex-Prisoners of War Memorial Trustees commenced a campaign asking that in lieu of wreaths, a Book Tribute be placed. These Book Tributes are later distributed to schools in the Ballarat area. St Patrick’s College recently accepted a donation of books from the Trustees, further enriching our collection and we warmly thank them for including us as a recipient. Many thanks for the work done by the Trustees.
