February 17, 2021 – Update on COVID-19
February 17, 2021
Dear Parents, Carers and Guardians of St Patrick’s College,
Following today’s announcement that the five-day lockdown will end at 11.59pm tonight, we write to confirm that St Patrick’s College is looking forward to welcoming back students and staff to on-site teaching and learning tomorrow morning (Thursday, February 18).
All students at the College are required to have a face mask with them at all times, and must wear them in all indoor settings (including classrooms and other learning spaces). Students who have a lawful exemption for wearing a mask should seek the advice of their Pastoral Care Teacher who will facilitate this process.
Single use masks will only be available as a replacement, if the student has broken their current mask.
Students without a mask will be sent home until they can comply with these external Government directives that the College is bound to follow.
Families who have children who attended the St Aloysius Grade 5 and 6 Camp last week will be contacted directly by the College to determine arrangements for your son.
Further correspondence will be sent later today regarding the updated arrangements for the Head of the Lake, which will occur on Friday as scheduled.
We thank you all for your patience and understanding during the past few days of remote and flexible learning and share your hope that it will be final time we are forced into such a situation.
