June 2 – College update on COVID-19
June 2, 2021
Dear Parents, Carers and Guardians of St Patrick’s College,
Following today’s announcements on the easing of COVID restrictions in regional Victoria we write to confirm that our proposed path for a return to face-to-face learning remains in place.
That is as follows:
- Students in Years 7-10 will remain in remote and flexible learning for the remainder of this week and will return to on-site learning on Monday, June 7. Students who have registered for on-site supervision for Friday, June 4 will still be able to attend as planned and will be asked to gather in the KRC.
- Students in Year 12 and those in Year 11 with a 3/4 class will return to on-site learning on Friday, June 4.
- The trial GAT for eligible Year 11 students scheduled for Friday, June 4 will proceed as planned. Students involved in this will be allowed to leave the College following its conclusion. Alternately, supervised study rooms will be provided for students from 9am to 3.25pm when the trial GAT is not being conducted for students to prepare for the upcoming mid-year exams.
- The school canteen will be open on Friday, June 4.
All students, staff and visitors to the site will be required to wear masks. Boys arriving without a mask will be required to purchase one through the College Shop.
Once again, we thank all in our community for their ongoing support in these difficult times.
