Peter John Collins (SPC 1956-57, PY1960)

Our deepest sympathy to the Collins family on the passing of Peter John Collins (SPC 1956-57, PY1960) who passed away on 21 July at home, aged 78 years. Peter was the loved and loving husband of Bernadette and the late Mary; dearly loved dad of Jayne-Louise, Julian, Marita, Joanne, Michael (SPC 1990-92) and a grandfather of six, including Thomas (SPC 2016-21) and current student Mitchell; and brother Roger (SPC 1959-60, PY1963) and sister Margaret. His father Kevin also attended SPC between 1928-29.
Peter was a boarder at SPC from Lake Goldsmith, Beaufort and attended during his Second and Third Year. His funeral was held at Beaufort on 27 July.
Peter was a farmer at Beaufort and moved to Torquay in his retirement.
