Leo Crough (SPC 1957-59)

We were also made aware that Old Collegian Leo Crough (SPC 1957-59) passed away on 25 October 2022.
Leo was the treasured husband of Margaret, father to Kylene, Justin, Sharni (dec) and Scott and a treasured grandfather who was remembered as “such a strong, gentle presence in all our lives, loved by all he knew”. He was the loved son of Pat and Elly Crough and brother to Gerald (SPC 1952-55), John (SPC 1955-56) and Pat (SPC 1961-62).

A Requiem Mass was held for Leo on 4 November 2022 at St Michaels Catholic Church in Springbank.

Leo was a day student from Wallace, who enjoyed playing football during his time at SPC, and was a talented full forward and leading goalkicker for the Second XVIII in 1959.
