Congratulations to Old Collegian Joshua Harrington (SPC 2012-17) who was the head coach of the Under 19 Heidelberg Football Club, which won this year’s Northern League grand final for the first time in its history.

It was Joshua’s first year as head coach of the team and it is the first time in the club’s history they have made it to a Division One Under 19 Grand Final.

Established in 1876, Heidelberg Football & Netball Club is one of the oldest Australian Rules Football Clubs in the country.

Joshua was the assistant coach last year and also coached the Under 17 Colts team for a number of years.

Joshua, who has been reappointed for 2025, is currently studying High Performance Sport at ACU Melbourne. He is also a Personal Trainer and works in Disability Services.

Joshua hopes to have a career in the sport performance field and will graduate towards the end of 2025. Well done Joshua!
