Indigenous Education

Supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to succeed.

Aligned with our commitment to Indigenous education, St Patrick’s College implements a Reconciliation Action Plan focused on relationships, respect, and opportunities.

Central to this plan is the Clontarf Academy, which aims to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through education, discipline and life skills development.

Our Indigenous Education team provides tailored support, honouring the cultural context of Indigenous students and fostering their achievement.

Reconciliation Action Plan

Our vision is to be a culturally safe, culturally rich, and culturally proud school, engaging in authentic change to cultivate learning opportunities for, with and about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families.

Clontarf Academy

Our Clontarf Academy provides a welcoming and familiar space for Indigenous students, fostering positive learning and personal growth. The Academy room, equipped with cooking and washing facilities, computers and entertainment equipment, acts as a home base for Clontarf students at school.
