Student Individual and Class Photos
Photographs were taken by David Torrington- MSP Photography on Thursday February 9 for the vast majority of boys. For the Year 7 boys who were- at camp on the day of the photographs and students who were absent for individual photographs an alternative time has been arranged on Friday February 17. I thank all boys for their cooperation throughout the day. Students yet to have photographs taken are to bring along their envelope on Friday February 17 to the photographs and hand it directly to the photographer. There is still an opportunity for family photographs to be taken that day. These order forms can be collected from the ERC.
Any boys who did not return their envelope when photos were taken and wish to order photo sets will need to deliver their envelope directly to David Torrington- MSP Photography and their address is listed below. Please do not send the envelope to school.-

Subject changes
All students have now settled into their classes for 2017. Students who now are requesting a subject change must have obtained the relevant form from Student Services in the Edmund Rice Centre and completed it in full before submission. They will also need to speak to their Year Level Coordinator regarding the reasons for the swaps. Please remember that while the College attempts to meet all requests some changes are not possible due to availability of subjects.
Year 7 Vaccinations in 2017
The Secondary School Vaccine Program offers free vaccines to Year 7 students. These vaccines provide protection against:
- Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) -“ one dose
- Human Papillomavirus (HPV) -“ three doses
- Varicella (chicken pox) -“ one dose
Parents/guardians of Year 7 students should look out for the vaccine consent card booklet coming home from school with your child. You need to read the booklet and complete and return Part A regardless of whether your child is being vaccinated at school. These cards are to be returned to the College no later than Thursday February 16.
The Ballarat City Council immunisation service may contact you about the Secondary School Vaccine Program. Schools are authorised to provide basic parent/guardian contact details to local councils for this purpose. Contact the school by 14 February 2017 if you do not want your contact details given to the Ballarat City Council immunisation service.
