Dear boarding families,

I hope you enjoyed the Term 3 holiday with your sons at home. Term 3 was jam-packed with various sporting commitments, including St Pat’s co-curricular activities and local club sports. Many of our boarders participated in multiple activities and enjoyed a rich and rewarding winter season as they participated with their boarding and school peers. A number of our students finished the winter sports season on the first weekend of the school holidays, playing in the Junior BFL Grand Final series. Congratulations to the members of the Redan Under 17 senior side that prevailed against East Point in what one could only describe as horrendous winter conditions.

Term 4 will be another busy term with various activities for the students and our community to be involved with. We look forward to welcoming our community to the Boarding House Presentation on Saturday, 15 October, as we celebrate the achievements of our boarders and farewell our Year 12 students. As our Year 12 students focus on their exams, our 2023 House Captains, Ngor Bar, Hugo Delaney and Paddy Hannaford, will step into their leadership roles. The boarding staff are excited to work with these young men and the Year 11 cohort to begin exploring how we can enrich the boarding experience for our community in 2023.
