Class of 1974 reminiscing half a decade on at reunion
June 3, 2024
We welcomed back nearly 50 members of the Class of 1974 for their 50-Year Reunion on Saturday 1 June 2024 in one of the biggest half-a-decade reunions in recent years.
Old Collegians and partners enjoyed the opportunity to tour the College and see the transformations of the buildings and grounds, including the brand-new Performing Arts Centre.
Thank you to Jamie Bobrowski, Director of HR, Risk and Compliance, for taking the tour and Brendan Eckel (SPC 1969-75), for representing the Old Collegians’ Association on the night.
It was wonderful to welcome some members who were attending their first reunion half a decade on from leaving the College.
Thank you to Class of 1974 College Captain Kevin Minchinton who welcomed the group back and in a surprising twist, also donated his well-worn school bag back to the College. Thank you Kevin!
We also thank classmate Shane Pianta who poured his heart and soul into tracking down classmates, encouraging such a large crowd on the night.
The group also paid their respects to their classmates who have sadly passed away.
It was great to hear many of the attendees ended up catching up again on the Sunday for a lunch together before heading home. There are already plans by members of the Class of 1974 to catch up again in November at an informal lunch, organised by classmates. To find out more, please click here
Thank you to the Class of 1974 for a wonderful night of catching up and reminiscing at their 50-Year Reunion!
