Chess in the KRC
With regular games held at lunch on Tuesdays, the KRC now has a strong chess club. Open to all, the boys have the opportunity to play each other with the view to making the St Pat’s Chess team. Under the direction of Chess Master Nathaniel Winfield supported by Monica Green, we have seen great improvement the boys’ chess skills but the best thing has been the camaraderie and commiserations the boys offer each other while they play. All players are welcome, please encourage your son to join if he’s interested in chess.
