NAPLAN
In 2022 St Patrick’s College will be administering the NAPLAN test in an electronic format.
In preparing for this there will be a Coordinated Practice Test (CPT) taking place on March 24. The purpose of this test is for NAPLAN to test the College’s capabilities, the NAPLAN website data flow and to give students the opportunity to undertake an on-line test before the official NAPLAN tests. There will also be a second practice test conducted in the coming weeks.
These CPTs are not the official NAPLAN tests, and the results do not contribute towards the NAPLAN data from the May testing period. All students in Years 7 and 9 will participate in these tests.
Students are required to ensure that their laptops are fully charged for March 24 and that they also bring their headphones, as this is needed for the tests. Parents are asked to support each student in ensuring that they are prepared for the CPT.
Parents wishing more information regarding NAPLAN can access the National Assessment Program website https://www.nap.edu.au/home.
