James Francis Stephen (SPC 1962-67, PY1968)

We are deeply saddened to hear Old Collegian James Francis Stephen (SPC 1962-67, PY1968) passed away peacefully on 29 June 2024.

Our deepest sympathy to his family including beloved wife of 50 years Irene, father of Mark (SPC 1993-98) and Kate and grandfather of four.

James was a boarder from Meredith before moving into Ballarat during his schooling. He studied from First Year through to Leaving.

James was active at SPC, participating in footy and athletics across his years. He was often placed in the running events as part of the school athletics sports and noted as a handy winger in the Third XVIII Football team in 1967. James was also a past parent and supporter of the College over the years.
