Junior School
July 14, 2022
By Mr Gavin Webb, Director of the Junior School
Welcome back
It was wonderful to see classrooms full and the yard vibrant, upon the return of students on Tuesday. The finish to Term 2 was hampered by high levels of illness to both students and staff, which placed pressure on everyone to complete assessment tasks, exams, correct work and complete reports. After a much needed rest everyone should be ready to attack Term 3 with gusto. The nature of the yearly school calendar is extremely busy but Term 3 is often a “little quieter”, regarding scheduled College and year level events. This offers the opportunity for great learning to be accomplished, foundations from Semester 1 built upon, relationships strengthened and solid routines and study habits further established.
Academic Assembly
The College’s Academic Assembly (Chris Nolan awards), is to be held on Tuesday, July 26. As a College, we place great importance on recognising those students whose results have placed them in the top 10% of their respective year level from semester one. Families will be notified and invited to attend.
BAS Road Relay
Congratulations to the following boys who are representing the College at the BAS Road Relays, which was held on Thursday, July 14, at Windmill Drive, Lake Wendouree.
