KRC Update – August 8, 2019

Library Closure

It is our endeavour to assist students, teachers and parents by making the library accessible for them daily both prior to school and after school.- Our library operating hours are:

Mon -“ Thurs 8 am -“ 5pm

Friday 8am -“ 4pm

Unfortunately, on Tuesday August 20, the library will not be open after school.- We have a very important Professional Development (PD) event and it is important that all library staff be given the opportunity to attend.- The PD is titled Child Safety in a digital world and the Duty of Care.- This is a topic that library staff deal with daily and they will benefit from attending.- We are sorry for any inconvenience this closure may cause.-

Displays in the KRC are every changing.- Currently we have displays to assist students that relate to Poetry, the Science Fiction Genre, Non-Fiction Science Books, Year 9 Melbourne Experience, Children’s Book Council of Australia past winners and notables and New Books in the Library. – Students are encouraged to have a look at these displays to supplement their knowledge on topics they are covering in their classrooms or for personal enjoyment and interest.
