KRC Update – February 7, 2019

2019 Heralds Exciting Changes for the KRC

We have had a busy start to the 2019 year.- Movement of staff offices to Kenny House and the creation of the new Year 12 Study Space saw the need for the library to relocate key areas of its own learning spaces.-

Two major moves were our Student Silent Reading area and the Fiction and Series Collections, and then the Teacher Reference Collection.- These moves have allowed us to create a more spacious reading space for our students and we look forward to hearing their feedback about the move.- The teachers now have better access to their professional reference collection and it has been married with a space that allows teachers to conference among themselves or by appointment with students.

– We look forward to a busy year and enthusiastically anticipate engaging with many boys as they visit the KRC for participation in our -Four R’s- -“ Reading, Recreation, Resources and Research.
