KRC Update – March 21, 2019

Homework and Study in the KRC

Students are welcome to do their homework and course revision in the KRC. We open at 8.00am and close at 5.00pm (4.00pm on Fridays). Lunch and recess are also available as times to complete homework.- Internet access is available, and this is great for those who have connectivity issues at home.- We have everything that’s needed to get an assignment, project or folio finished. The printer, guillotine, coloured paper, laminator, scissors, rulers, staplers and a range of pens are all here for students to use. We can also help you with resources and research skills like search strategies, website evaluation and how to use creative commons.

The KRC is warm/cool and quiet – it can be very beneficial to stay late one afternoon a week to keep on top of homework and to revise.

This year we can offer a designated area for students to catch up with teachers.- Appointments are made between the student and the teacher and the KRC staff then call staff on the arrival of the student.- This is great when extra assistance is required to clarify task requirements or when curriculum content needs further explanation.-
