Masks on country buses – July 31

We share the following message from the Department of Education Country Bus co-ordinator for the Ballarat region:

“All secondary students will have to wear their mask on the bus at all times from Monday, August 3. (students at Primary schools DO NOT have to wear masks).

If they fail to do so, their name will be taken and reported to myself and phone calls home will be made.

If it is continual then they may be removed off the bus network.

Students will also need to keep in mind that Police may board the bus at any time and a $200 fine may be issued as per government rules.”
