Maurice James Walsh (SPC 1946-1948)

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Old Collegian Maurice James Walsh (SPC 1946-1948) who passed away on 30 June 2023, at the age of 91 years.
Maurice was a boarder from Remlaw, near Horsham, in Victoria and attended SPC from Sub-Intermediate through to Leaving. Maurice was awarded the second highest prize in his Leaving year in 1948.

After leaving St Pat’s, Maurice went back to run the family farm at Remlaw, which he did until his death. He is survived by his wife Mary, six children including sons Damian (SPC 1981-82) and Greg (SPC 1982-83) and 14 grandchildren.
