Middle School Report

Today we sent off the 2020 Year 9’s at the Middle School Awards Ceremony. Unfortunately, parents were not able to join us but we have recorded the Middle School Awards Ceremony and a link to this recording will be available on the College website at some stage next week.

As this is the final Crest report for 2020 I would like to personally thank all teachers who contributed so much to the life and vibrancy of the Middle School in what can only be described as a very different year!! I must give the highest commendation to Mr Shane Hayes and Mr Sam Cue in their roles as Year Level Co-ordinators. They have not only been a great support for me but must be congratulated for their care, professionalism and energy, guiding and supporting the young men of the Middle School.  I also thank the Middle School Pastoral Care Teachers including, Ms Janelle Spierings, Mr John Hearn, Ms Bridie Laffey, Mr Pietro Angeli, Mrs Kristine Smardon, Mr Liam Davie, Ms Louise Macquire, Mrs Andrea Hadley and Mr Michael Weadon. This wonderful and dedicated group work tirelessly, ensuring all boys are exposed to a range of intellectual, physical, social and spiritual challenges.

Lastly, to the Year 9 boys of 2020, although your time has ended do not forget the challenges you have overcome, the knowledge you have received and the bonds that you have formed. Take them with you and continue to use them along your journey. Good luck, have a wonderful Christmas break and all the best for 2021 in the Senior School.
