DAV Debating
On Wednesday October 19, our Year 10 debating team featuring Oscar Grigg, Xavier O’Shea and Ryan Mulheron competed in the C Grade Semi Finals of the DAV competition against Princes Hill Secondary College. The boys won the debate and have now progressed through to the State Finals. Congratulations boys!
The boys will be debating in the Final of the DAV competition next week on Wednesday October 26. Good luck boys!
On Thursday October 20, our Year 12 debating team competed in the A Grade Semi Finals of the DAV competition against St Kevin’s College. Unfortunately, the boys did not win their debate however, they still must be commended on their achievements throughout the year. To find themselves ranked in the top four secondary school debating teams in the state is an outstanding achievement. So congratulations to James Parini, David O’Doherty and Liam O’Shea.
