SPC Business Directory success

Community members and businesses are all smiles after using the new SPC Business Directory App.

Barry used the new app to source an arborist to tidy up some of his ornamental pear trees at home.

-I downloaded the app and thought I’d give it a go-¦ it worked out perfectly, I needed an arborist and Paddy was there.-

Similarily, Paddy Arnts, an Old Collegian and current parent, read about the launch of new app in The Crest school newsletter recently and was one of the first to register his business, Paddy the Tree Fella, on the app and take up a two-year membership.

-My wife Helen saw it and we decided we wanted to support it. It’s supporting St Patrick’s and the whole SPC community and we think that’s great.-

Paddy (SPC 1982-88), an arboriculture consultant and industry trainer along with his son Tom (SPC 2010-15), a qualified tree climber arborist, make up just one of nearly 100 businesses with SPC connections already on the business directory app.

The free app also lists contacts for a range of businesses, from accountants and personal trainers to wedding celebrants.
