Thanking our Boarding Appeal donors
March 13, 2018
The College would like to sincerely thank our generous supporters of the Boarding Precinct Appeal.
So far, we are well over a third of the way towards raising $1 million in a fundraising appeal, raising- over $450,000, towards the- $7m-plus build cost.
Construction of the stunning new- accommodation wing is now complete. The 11-month build of the three-storey accommodation wing was finished on time, on budget and to an exceptionally high standard prior to Christmas, and the refurbishment of two boarding supervisor residences, landscaping and interior furnishing completed over the school break.
In late January, we welcomed over 60 full-time and weekly boarders into the new accommodation wing for the start of the 2018 school year. In exciting news, St Patrick’s College’s boarding program once again offers a “home away from home” experience for boys from Years 7-12. The new accommodation wing can house nearly 100 boarders in a welcoming, modern and spacious setting.
Construction of the second stage of the- redevelopment has now commenced with the kitchen and dining room currently underway and anticipated to- be complete- by August.
We invite our school community to consider assisting the College in this investment to secure boarding at St Patrick’s College for decades to come.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and donors, no matter how large or small their contribution, will be recognised in College publications, while those who pledge $500 or more will also have their name permanently etched into honour boards which will feature in the new development. For further information on how you can help, go to https://www.stpats.vic.edu.au/en/boarding/boarding-redevelopment/donate/ or contact either Director of Development Paul Nolan on 5322 4450 or Alumni and Foundation Officer Lorrie Liston on 5322 4442. We will be forever grateful for your support.
