The Harp Old Boys entertain special guests

-The Harp- St Pat’s Old Boys group met for lunch in late September and entertained some special guests.

The group were pleased to welcome home on leave, Columban Priest Fr Chris Baker (SPC 1942-43), from Lima Peru, and his brother Fr Pat Baker (SPC 1952-55) from Manila, Philippines.

Also present at the lunch were Bob Caleo (1942-43), Joe Delaney (SPC 1943-44) AO, Jim Farrell (1941-44), Peter Hyland (SPC 1940-42), pictured above,– Bill Keating (1940-44), Brian Mason (1939-42), John Mason (SPC 1942-45), John McArthur (1941-44), Kevin Raphael (1942-44) and Peter Stafford (1942-43).

Now aged in their late 80s and early 90s, the group still greatly appreciates the continuing spirit of friendship and mutual support which began with the team spirit of SPC when they were boarders there more than 70 years ago.
