St Patrick’s College Annual Christmas Appeal-
In the week beginning Monday November 20, 2017 we shall be conducting our annual Christmas Appeal. This year we will have a themed approach.
-
On Monday November 20 and Wednesday November 22 we request that all boys bring in one nonperishable item like tinned food or dried food.
-
On Tuesday November 21 and Thursday November 23 our focus will be on toiletries (tissues, toilet paper, deodorant, baby wipes, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo etc); and
-
Finally, on Friday November 24 we would like Christmas treats.
Christmas can be a bleak time for many families and through this drive and your generosity the College does make a positive impact on many Ballarat families in Ballarat who struggle to survive on a daily basis.
Student Leadership
Last Thursday our 2018 Student Council joined with leadership teams of other schools in our region to participate in GRIP Leadership training. The group had the opportunity to explore concepts of honesty and integrity in Leadership and upholding College values as well as the planning and organizational aspects of leadership.
Advance Notice: Causal Clothes Day
There will be a casual clothes day on Wednesday November 22. All staff and students participating are asked to make a gold coin donation. Funds raised will enable our Social justice group to take young asylum seekers on an excursion to the Ballarat Wildlife Park.
