The College reconnects with Justin Gordon (SPC 2009-10) who credits his boarding experience at SPC for teaching him plenty of -people skills-.
Where has life taken you since leaving SPC?
I settled in Albury/Wodonga for university and I am now working in private practice in physiotherapy in Albury, NSW. I am also engaged and getting married to Jorden Geddes on November 4, 2017.
What are your favourite memories of your time at St Patrick’s College?
The Ireland (football) trip, MCC Herald Sun Shield premiership, hanging around with the other boarders, and being welcomed to sit next to someone on my first day by local Ben Mundy!
Which teacher from your time at SPC had the greatest impact on you? Why?
Howard Clark. He is a great role model, elite coach and family man.
What was your favourite college event?
The BAS Grand Final.
How has your education at SPC shaped your professional life?
It has given me the opportunity to travel, study and live with a diverse group of people, greatly improving my people skills.
How has your time at SPC shaped your personal values and your family life?
Practice contentment every day, respect the past, individual talents plus collective strength = team success.
If you could pass on one message to the students of today, what would it be?
If it is to be, it is to be-¦ Don’t focus solely on results or selections because the values and experiences at St Patrick’s will mean much more to you.
