Year 7 Puzzlemania

Friday, September 14 saw the annual Puzzlemania Interaction Afternoon take place between St Patrick’s and Loreto College Year 7 students.

The afternoon began with a shared lunch before students moved into the SPC gym for an afternoon of activities that included puzzles, problem solving, guessing songs, answering trivia and a large group game of traffic lights.

A number of Year 11 students from both Colleges gave generously of their time to act as leaders and assist with the smooth running of the afternoon. The activities provided a wonderful opportunity for students to reconnect with friends from primary school, as well as the chance to develop new friendships.

Thank you to all staff and the Year 11 helpers who were involved in the afternoon. A special thank you to Ms Kasey Fletcher and Mrs Karen Bambridge, Loreto Year 7 Co-ordinators, for all their help and support in making the afternoon such a success. This event is always a highlight on the Year 7 calendar and we look forward continuing this great tradition next year.
