Short in national squad

Congratulations are in order once again for Old Collegian Matt Short (SPC 2008-13) who has been named in Cricket Australia’s National Performance Squad.

The 13 players selected have been identified as having the potential to play a significant role in Australian cricket in the future.

Matt will travel with the squad to India this winter for a series of matches and training sessions.

In India the squad will spend time at the world-famous MRF fast-bowling facility under the tutelage of Australian Test great Glenn McGrath.

They will also play four one-day matches against the Australian Indigenous Squad in July, and train with members of the Australia A and under-19 squads ahead of their winter tours of India and England respectively.
